Due to some personal and work issues the start up for brewery has been postponed, sad but necessary. Thumbs up :)
The beauty is in the eye of the beer holder!
Perkele Brewery is a hobby project and not a commercial brewery, not yet. The intention is to switch over to commercial brewing so called Micro/Nano Brewery in the coming year 2023-24. (hobby basis but seriously) This is my dream, to brew good and tasty beer and in that way bring joy to people. Since I do not sell beer, at the moment, and if you are interested in tasting my beer I can think of exchange beers with other home brewers or breweries.
The purpose of this project is to learn how to brew great beer at home and be able to taste, see and smell the differences of beers which I brew. The goal to find 6 to 8 favourite beers that I would like to brew frequently. My intention is to learn the craftmanship behind brewing, get more knowledge about malt, hops and beer in general. Another goal is also to involve my friends to start spending time together while brewing.
I use Grainfather serie for brewing and the Graindfather Fermenter Pro for fermentation together with their glycol chiller and I have been very satisfied with the results so far.
Happy Brewing.
Simple and tasty is my motto and in the near/far future tha plan is to establish a Nano Brewery and the next step after that will be BBQ... hopefully the same location as the brewery... PERKELE BREWERY & BBQ (PERKELE B&B)
There are several beer styles that I am fond of however a few of them are my absolute favourites such as Stout & Porter, IPA, ALE and NEIPA. I do drink lager as well though mostly in the summer.
What kind of beer to drink and when is not the question but drink the beer you like when feel for it. So I know that many people say that one cannot drink a thick, full-bodied stout in the middle of summer but why should one make beers too seasonal. Drink the beer you desire... when ever you want.

Stout & Porter beers are great, especially when they are thick, tasty and full-bodied.
Ale is something that I can drink all year around. No matter the weather.. sun or rain - a good malty Ale will be perfect.
American Pale Ale has its perks. Many different kind of beers in this segment and many of the really good. Will be practicing of brewing APA.
Once and awhile I get the urge to drink a beer with lots of hops taste. Something that is not called 'Juice' or 'Hazy' but has a distinctive hop flavour.
