MAUNTAIN GOULDEN ALE

I have been a while been interested in brewing a Golden Ale and found a recipy at the Crainfather Community (by George) an Ale that seemd to be pretty much what I was I looking for. No alternation was made for the recipy since it was my first time to brew Golden Ale so I followed the recipy on point… 🙂

Only Citra hops in the brew both in boil and then dry hopped by it and I have to admit that Citra is one of my favourites when it comes to hops. Somehow I managed to go over the target that was 1.050 with more than 10 points up to 1.061 even though I followed the amount of water and malt/grain.

Well, it became out with light yellow fine colour and tasted somewhat sweet and a bit orange, this must be due to the teaspoon of orange peel that was added to wort in the last minutes of the boil. Now, it has started fermenting and the bubbles I coming in a steady flow.
