MAUNTAIN CITRA
The past brews I have experienced to work well for me have been started early in the morning, somehow I like to be in my ’storage-brewery’ very early in the morning in a Saturday. No one else there but our dogs and a cup of coffee. Yesterday I went up 05.00 AM and started my Grainfather G30 and half an hour later the grain was put in.
I was ready with brewing and cleaning already 11 o’clock and had the rest of the day tp enjoy the late summer sun and warmth.
The brew was an Indian Pale Ale with Pacific Gem in the boil together with late additions och Citra and will be dry hopped with Citra för 3 days later on. Everything went great and the OG was on target 1.062. See the recipy here below. Now it will be fermenting 10 days at 20C (however I will keep it a few grades below 20, between 18-19).
