Holiday Brews 2021

The two last brews of the year 2021.

This year I brewed two different types of beer after Christmas celebrations. The first patch was Irish Red Rye Ale which got great amber/reddish colour and a sharp tast of rye and very malty finish. Actually the taste of the beer is not my favourite but I will give it a change ans let it ’take its time’ in the keg. Now it is being ’cold crasched’ for 3 days in +4C.

The other batch is Baltic Porter. This one will be great with lots of notes of cacao, chocolate and caramel – will give with its 8% of good start for evening. I would call it for a Social Starter… it will have a week left in the fermenter before it will be kegged.
